It is a main concept of Nature, but different theories deal very differently with it: in relativity space and time are treated in the same manner, whereas in quantum mechanics position is an observable and time just a parameter. And what about entropy increasing? And what about a pre-Big Bang epoch (the concept of absence of time)?
